One way to search for books or ebooks in the Library is to use Summon. Summon searches all of the Library's books, ebooks, and scholarly articles.
The Summon search box is located on the Library's homepage and it is also linked below this answer. Type the title or subject of a book into the Summon search box. On the results screen, make sure to check off "book/ebook" under Content Type to limit your search to books and ebooks.
You can also use CalCat to search for books or ebooks. CalCat is located on the Library's homepage on the "Books" tab and it is also linked below this answer. Type the title, author, or subject of a book into the CalCat search box.
Once you find a book:
If it's a physical book- write down the call number to locate it in the Library.
If it's an e-book -you can read the full text of the book online. If you are off campus you must enter your NetID and password to read an ebook.
